Philippe Ramette, a surrealist dreamer conceives poetic images sometimes burlesque thus underlining the absurdity of our world.
In the images of the series exploration rationnelle des fonds sous-marins presented in this edition, the artist go under water lonely and ignores humain contingencies such as breathing and the fact that he goes very deep.
“i am very sensitive to anything that enables me to comprehend in a different way the physical constraints of our rational world ”.
Although he produces no visual effects. he uses a mecanical camera his prosthesis for attitudes in this shoot made in Corsica a team of divers helped him to breath between shoots made by his mate
