Michel Mallard is a Creative Director, Exhibition Curator and Photographer.
Much more than an Art Director, he has provided the creative force behind the relaunching and re-designing of magazines such as Vogue Hommes International, L'Off iciel, Jalouse, Biba, L’Autre Journal and La Tribune & Moi.
Through Michel Mallard Studio he has conceived advertisement campaigns for top luxury brands as Kenzo Perfumes, Flower by Kenzo, Kenzo Ki, Azzaro pour Homme and Azzaro pour Homme Elixir, and Jean Paul Gaultier.
As a photographer, Michel Mallard has recently portrayed, either for editorial or advertising, Carla Bruni Sarkozy, Isabelle Huppert, Karl Lagerfeld, Willem Dafoe, Bernard Henry Levy, Joao Manoel Barroso, Joey Starr, Jo Wilf ied Tsonga and other personalities.
His images have been featured in La Tribune et Moi Jalouse, Blast, L’Off iciel, Vogue.
Michel Mallard also serves as creative director and photo curator of the Hyères International Festival of Fashion and Photography, now on its 11th edition.
He has conceived and organized exhibitions with artists such as Steven Meisel, Nick Knight, Guy Bourdin, Saul Leiter, Melvin Sokolsky,and designed books with leading artists such as Thomas Ruff or Steven Meisel or Jean Baptiste Mondino, Emmanuelle Béart for Steidl, Schirmer & Mosel, ...
His creative work has been shown at the Grand Palais in Paris and in prestigious venues in New York, Shanghai, Buenos Aires, Mexico City, Luxembourg and London.
