An opportunity to see work by a new generation of design talent, the annual Glasgow 1999 Design Medal is a platform for designers studying at Glasgow’s Higher and Further Education institutions.

Designs on show in the accompanying exhibition include jewellery, textile design, fashion, product design and engineering. The 5th Glasgow 1999 Design Medal will be presented to a student whose work consistently shows a high level of creativity, imagination and originality.
