Leading the forefront of contemporary fashion design, the twice named 'British Designer of the Year,' Hussein Chalayan, is renowned for his innovative use of materials, meticulous pattern cutting and progressive attitudes to new technology.
This exhibition will be the first comprehensive presentation of Hussein Chalayan’s work in the UK. Spanning fifteen years of experimental projects, the exhibition explores Hussein Chalayan's creative approach, his inspirations and the many themes which influence his work such as cultural identity, displacement and migration.

The Ullens Center for Contemporary Art presents the exhibition "Christian Dior and Chinese Artists" starting November 16th, 2008 in Beijing.
Conceived as a highly innovative project, this exhibition creates a dialogue between two continents and two different means of expression, contemporary art and fashion. A legendary name, synonymous around the world with haute couture, places itself as a source of inspiration for major Chinese artists:
Wang Du, Zhang Huan, Huang Rui, Li Songsong, Zhang Dali, Xu Zhongmin, Liu Jianhua, Zheng Guogu, Lu Hao, Wang Qingsong, Yan Lei, Zhang Xiaogang, Wen Fang, Shi Jingsong, Wang Gongxin, Quentin Shih, Liu Wei, Rong Rong & Inri, Tim Yip, Qiu Zhijie et Ma Yan Song.

Les Arts Décoratifs consacrent à Sonia Rykiel sa première grande exposition à Paris dans le cadre du 40e anniversaire de la Maison. Sonia Rykiel, exhibition invite le visiteur à aller à la rencontre de la créatrice à travers un parcours thématique où 220 silhouettes, de 1968 à nos jours, se mêlent aux photographies de mode et aux vidéos de défilés qui ont façonné l’image de la Créatrice, pionnière de la mode contemporaine.
