With buildings such as the New Maxburg in Munich (1953-1957, together with Theo Pabst), the German Pavilion at the World Expo in Brussels (1958, with Egon Eiermann) and the official Chancellor's bungalow for Ludwig Erhard in Bonn (1963|64), Sep Ruf received international acclaim and played a major role in shaping architecture in the post-war era.
