Leyva was founded by Antonio Leiva Mas in 1960. It started as an entrepreneurial project with the aim of bringing a new quality based product to the market. Located in the Andalusian city of Linares, an area traditionally known for its Olive agriculture and Mining, Leyva has been able to make its way through the hard and ever changing fashion business.
Perseverance, excellent workmanship, and personalized customer service have marked the day's work of this enterprise. Now, five decades later, Leyva belts are sold world wide. Inheritors of the craftsmanship of masters, the Leyva products are fashioned with the greatest care. Our fine, hand-made, belts are conceived with the noblest materials, and are put under strict quality controls to guarantee their beauty and durability.Our Products are unique and of the finest quality. Designer
Esther Leiva Ruiz was born in 1980 in the city of Linares, in the southern province of Jaen, Spain. A 2004 graduate from the Fine Arts Faculty in Seville, she specialized in Engraving and Graphic Design. During her university years, she developed her artistic focus based on aesthetics and its various representations, such as drawing, painting, sculpting, photography, etc.
Her family has a long tradition in tailoring that later evolved into the family business and passion: fine leather belts.
Esther joined Leyva, founded by her father Antonio Leiva, and along his side continued her career in the world of fashion, designing high quality belts. Her arrival to the company was a decisive factor in the development of the new line of belts for women, which distil style and personality.
In 2007, she launched her first collection of Handbags for Leyva Women. Furthermore, her love for photography has led her to direct various photographic projects for the firm and develop a series of catalogues for different collections both for Men and Women.
