Biography
Rico, Art director and Intuitive brand owner, has graduated at the Florence Architecture University.
As soon as he finished his studies he moved to New York, where he lived and worked in the interior design area.
Later on he moved to London where he lived and worked for more than three years.
All these elements contributed to define the Intuitive brand identity, which was finally launched in 2000.
The designer has also coordinated a fashion prototype laboratory in Milan at “spazio Base B”, in front of Triennale Bovisa.
Since February 2008 Rico keeps the Art Direction of the new Fashion and Art Event in Berlin: STARK.
Now he holds Leather Design Professorship in Politecnico di Milano in cooperation with New York Fashion Institute of Technology.

INTUITIVE BRAND PHILOSOPHY Punk Anglo-Saxon soul fused with a strong made in Italy tailoring tradition bound each other to obtain strong expression of characters. This Intuitive core concept, a constant extreme attention to materials and compositions research and a 100% absolutely hand made haute couture.
The designer Rico, from his architecture training, transports his compositions and material excesses to definite tailoring structures.
Touch first of all, for the greatest luxury, soul exaltation.
In 2000, Intuitive birth matches with Pitti Street Style pavilion project, hosted in Fortezza da Basso, Florence.
In June, the brand exposed an interior design collection for the exhibition “Oggetti Uomo”, supported by Pitti.
It also designed Pitti Filati Area Press pavilion and Pitti Casa Press and Relax area in Fortezza da Basso central room, in February and October respectively.
Later, Milan Salone del Mobile fair showed an Intuitive sitting system, and in October the brand produced its first home collection exhibited at Pitti Casa.
At the same time it presented its new concept “k” fabric.
This collection is exposed at London Designers Block in October.
The next year (2001) Intutive carried out its first men collection showed at Pitti Uomo in January.
This collection ´s presented again in February at the London Fashion Week and the following month at Superstudiopiù in Milan.
On the occasion of Salone del Mobile the brand exposed a glass and steel table inside Salone Satellite.
During Paris Fashion Week, Intuitive proposed a woman Pret à Porter collection nearby Atmosphere.
In June it showed its new man Pret à porter collection at Casabo fair, during the Paris Fashion Week.
In October Intuitive presented again in Atmosphere the woman Pret à Porter collection.
In January it showed the Pret à Porter man collection at Paris Fashion Week.
In 2002 the first Intuitive woman collection exhibited near by Rossana Orlandi showroom..
The brand projected for this showroom a desks system still present in the area.
In June 2002 Intuitive designs Casabo man Pret à Porter pavilion, at Porte de Versailles, where it exposed its fall winter 2003 collection.
In the same area it organized the Independent Artists showroom.
In 2003 Paris Fashion Week, the brand exhibited two collection for men Pret à Porter and two for women Pret à Porter.
It organized again the Independent Artists Showroom in Paris at Espace Saint Martin.
Four collections for Paris Pret à Porter follow one upon the other during 2004 fashion weeks.
Also in 2004 Intuitive organized the Showroom in Paris Espace Saint Martin.
In January 2005, thanks to the “ix” collection Intuitive performed its first fashion show in Paris, during the man Paris runways.
In March the first Intuitive woman fashion show was presented in Paris, and it was followed by the “Settecento punk”, the pret à porter man’s collection showed in June.
In October, a woman pret à porter defile, showed in Paris, ended the Intuitive 2005 presentations.
The year 2006 has been opened by the “New Middle Ages”, a pret à porter man collection presented in Paris.
The second fashion show of the year, named “Luxury Homeless” has been shown at the occasion of the June Paris Fashion Week at the “Cloitre des Billettes”, a famous medieval cloister in the centre of the Parisian district Marais.

In June 2007 Intuitive showed in Milan its “Punk Farm” collection in Base B location.
During the next season it presented its Photographic and Fashion concept “Formaldeide”.
In this collection the designer macro- analyzes insects details to turn them in physical textures.
For this season two presentation have been performed in Milan where Intutitve Showroom and Offices are and in Paris in Cloitre des Billettes.
The collection has been hosted by Berlin Fashion Week Mercedes Benz, and IMG supported Intuitive catwalk, which has been considered the most amazing show during the Fashion Week.
In the last collection “The next upcoming” Intuitive interpreted religious icons and turn these images into precious and refined shapes.
It has been performed, with a catwalk during STARK. Opening Day, an event where L´Uomo Vogue has been a special guest, and was considered one of the most important during Berlin Fashion Week on July 2008.
