• La Petite Salope was founded in 2001 by Nicola Helgesen

• She produced a small sample collection which was snapped up by iconic store Browns. More orders followed quickly.

• In 2004 she won the BFC’s New generation’ sponsorship for her London fashion week debut, which catapulted the brand from a modest cottage industry to achieving global sales.

• The brand accolades include being voted Dress of the year by the Evening standard and in 2005 and winning the New Exporter of the Year Award at the UKFE Awards in 2006 and most recently the Designer Business award at this year’s prestigious UKFE.

• The brand has 60 stockists in 18 countries, including Le Bon Marche, GENTE Roma, Feathers, Net-a-Porter and Luisa via Roma.
