Monsieur Lacenaire was created by Garance Broca in 2011. After doing knitwear development at Balmain & Hermès, she wanted to go further by creating her own designs for men. Her unique skills and her passion in knitting make Monsieur Lacenaire one of the most creative knitwear brand with exclusive knit tricks and a very contemporary vision of knitwear. Since the first season, some of the greatest shops worldwide carry Monsieur Lacenaire, as Colette and Bon Marché in Paris, International Gaellery, Isetan, Édifice or United Arrows in Japan, Soto in berlin ... to name a few. Today, Monsieur Lacenaire still a knit specialist, but the brand offer also quality shirts, trousers and accessories made with incredible fabrics from England or Japan. Garance Broca is helped by Benoist Husson, who is in charge of image of Monsieur Lacenaire, and also Monsieur Lacenaire’s side projects such as video games based from knitwear, exclusive music albums with Baleapop festival, shooting, videos, collaborations...
