Born in San Antonio, Texas, Nicole went on to graduate at prestigious Stanford University, with a degree in Fine Arts and Art History. Intrigued by the world of fashion she opts to learn from the best, and comes to Italy, to study at acclaimed Milan Fashion Institute “Marangoni”.
Following her graduation, it was her experience collaborating with Manolo Blahnik to create Zac Posen's Fall 04 runway shoe collection, that shines upon her a deep interest in shoe design.
Nicole returns to Italy, and begins working with Italian shoe manufacturers, learning the “mestiere” of shoe-making, directly in the factories which have given birth to shoes of some of the greatest names in the business. This is where she produces her first shoe collection.
Her decision to launch her own label in 2006, at such an early stage, proved to be a good move, as her talent is immediately recognized by Franca Sozzani, director of Italian Vogue, choosing her to participate in the contest “Who’s on next”, where the press defines her design as “understatement sexy”.
Besides designing her own label, she presently designs a capsule collection for Salvatore Ferragamo.
Her style: sensually inspired, fluent and erotic, with an ultra-modern, austere finish.
