Pura Lopez

The brand PURA LOPEZ is named after its designer. Pura Lopez grew up surrounded by shoes. This has given her a deep knowledge of the concepts and techniques in the process of creation and manufacturing of women shoes.

She studied Art and Design in Spain after which she completed a rigorous education in design and shoe manufacturing techniques in the most prestigious schools in Italy and New York. Once she had complete her education she found herself deeply involved in the process of design of women shoes. Her demanding personality, her rigorous working habits and her perfectionism has led her to capture the attention of the international fashion press due to her special interpretation and subtle lines of her designs.

Pura has been colaborating with fashions designers from her very beginings and her designs have been worned in many catwalks and she continues to to do so now with designers in Pasarela Cibeles and Gaudi. She also works together with Aute Couture designers creating shoes for special occassions for members of the European Monarchies such as Crown Princess Letizia of Spain and Mary Donaldson, Crown Pricess of Denmark.
