Raphaëlle H’Limi was born in 1980 in Paris. Her passion for plastic arts and fashion made her integrate a formation at ESAA Duperré, then she studied in Brussels (ENSAV La Cambre).During her studies, she learnt in the creation studios of Christian Dior, Yvan Mispelaere, Sharon Wauchob and Martin Grant. In 2006, she obtained a Master degree in Fashion Creation at IFM in Paris. This diploma drove her to Bologna in Italy where she joined Emilio Pucci’s creative team supervised by Matthew Williamson.
She stayed there for one and a half year as a junior designer for the accessory department.After that, she returned to La Cambre for two years to develop her first complete collection. The collection PLAY THE GAME, which was presented in June, 2010 in Brussels signs the beginning of her creative brand and made her win the « Grand Prix de la Création » of Paris in December. Raphaëlle H’Limi’s style is articulated around the detailed research for a graphic, feminine and fundamentally modern silhouette. A look where structure, geometry and architecture are essential elements. Clothes where folding and origami take a particular importance to create new volumes. Her inspirations come from various artistic movements such as Arte Povera and contemporary construction mixed with artisanal handcrafts.

Universe SS 14 collection
SS 14 collection POLYGON SKY opts for a minimalistic style with leaving lots of space for volume and cuts. Cubes, crystals and rays are dominated elements of this collection. Blurred sunset images emerge above the cities architecture. Hereupon, the color irrupts - colorful, fresh and crafted, both in print and embroidered textures.The paper sculptures of Matthew Shlian, threads structures of Pae White and vibrant architectures of Mario Cucinella are all inspirations that nourish the collection. This collection, which is so far the most significant of the brand Raphaëlle H'limi, offers essential pieces such as a black and white graphic dress or pieces with cutted neoprene over silk. Essential garments of the wardrobe are reworked as the white cotton shirt or sweatshirt fleece. Poetry and architecture meet at the heart of fashion to harmonize mind and style.
The brand Raphaelle H’Limi was created on January 2011, after the designer won the the « Grand Prix de la Création » of Paris. She presented her first commercial collection at the fashion event COMING SOON at Atmosphere at the end of January 2011. The press noticed the young brand during all the first year : Coup de Coeur du ELLE, Coup de Coeur de l’Express Styles, Wad, Pose Mag, Vogue Talents… The second collection was presented both in Who’s next and in Rendez-Vous in September 2011. At the same time, the brand participated at the fashionweek in Dalian, China. Finalist to the Visionnary Award, the brand took part to the ON/OFF event in March 2012 in Paris. The collection began to be distributed at L’Exception, La Cour, Cancan and Brandalley. For the SS13 presentation, the brand was shown at ZIPZONE in September 2012. The first international customers starts to collaborate with the brand (Japan, Saudi Arabia, Hong Kong)…Now the company is working with one international showroom related to her global strategy.
