Biography

Designer, Peter Holzinger, graduated with his Masters in fashion from the University of Applied Arts in Vienna under the guidance of masters of maximalism and minimalism –
Victor & Rolf and Raf Simons. After continuing his design studies in Copenhagen, Peter gained experience working alongside Stephan Schneider in Antwerp and Wendy & Jim in Austria.

Peter was invited back to his alma mater in 2005 to teach in the fashion department directed by Veronique Branquinho. Peter immediately began setting the groundwork for his own label and in 2008 founded the Superated mens wear label with media planner, Christian Moser. Silhouettes with sophisticated elegance mixed with a healthy dose of humour become the Superated signature.

In 2010 Holzinger and Moser open a second creative platform, ‘Samstag’ a multi-label concept store and on-line boutique where they showcase their vision of fashion, architecture and design. In that same year. Superated won the Austrian Fashion Award for international PR.

Launching their first womens wear line, Superated present their AW 11 “Two Spirit’ collection during Paris Fashion Week.

Superated launches their first women’s wear line in Paris during AW 11 Fashion Week. Entitled “Two Spirit” this collection explores the duality of genders existing in all of us. Finally women will be able to enjoy for themselves the Superated individuality and freedom.
