CACHAREL FALL WINTER 2016-2017 COLLECTION
Cacharel FW16 collection takes roots in a simple femininity inspired by a 90’s woman. A 70’s
influence is unveiled as well, referring to the romantic and warm universe of Sarah Moon
and Paolo Roversi.
Silhouettes are draped, knotted, easy to wear but always elaborate. Clean cuts are part of
the brand’s new vocabulary.
The collection is contemporary, using contrasting textures and materials, including unique
fabrics: hairy textures, fur and leather, velvets, maxi herringbones or cut threads with a
focus on double faced fabrics. A textured feel is tangible, with the use of printed fabrics,
flocked, embroidered or eyelets. A well-balanced mix of textures and colors with a particular
attention to detail creates a sharp look, definitely fashion forward.
Knitwear is also particularly developed this season with very soft pieces in subtle colors,
creating a feminine and modern look. Prints are modern and maxi: the emphasis was put on
bold flowers, scribbled collages and abstract prints.
Some of them, created in an autumnal palette, were inspired by Sarah Moon’s world for
Cacharel back in the days.
