Simplexity is the underlying philosophy behind his design studio, named Ora ïto . His artistic language is described as minimal with organic techno-futuristic elements. It didn’t took long for Morabito to attract Vuitton and Apple as his clients founded his studio in 1997. Soon he was seen a phenomenon in pop culture, known as the youngest designer of his generation to collaborate with jewels of luxury goods and industry, after the huge multi-acclaimed success of his aluminium Heineken bottle. His sculptural design became a mark of modernity and was highly rated by Cassina, Cappellini, Bouygues, Alstom, Laguiole, Zanotta and Accor. In 2013, Ito Morabito created MAMO , an art centre on the roof terrace of the Cité Radieuse in Marseille. It gained a reputation as one of the most valued scenes for contemporary artists (from Xavier Veilhan to Dan Graham ). Wallpaper ranked Ito Morabito amongst the top 40 most influential designers under 40 years old. He was appointed Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres in 2011.
