His work includes photography, sculpture, film, painting and installation art. Diversity artist and builder, he gives his work a preponderant place to sculpture and statuary even if he practices other artistic disciplines. “ With a statue, an extremely traditional form, I seek the experience of the vision that the viewer will have. What really matters to me is how visitors will stay in a place, how I can give them both visual and physical experience”. Xavier Veilhan Xavier Veilhan uses techniques of traditional and high-tech craftsmanship, industrial materials and works textures, temperature, scales, softening the borders between furniture, architecture, real estate and sculpture. These immediately recognizable elements (vehicles, everyday objects, characters, animals) with smooth and simplified forms offer an understanding of reality through their generic forms.
