BIOGRAPHICAL CATALOG OF THE MODEM'S COVERS AUTHORS

144 2006 ARCHITECTE Modem Men’s Modem New-York /LA Spring-Summer 2007 Covers by ZAHA HADID Zaha Hadid (1950 –2016) was an Iraqi-British architect and one of the leading personalities in Contemporary Architecture and Design. Zaha Hadid is the first woman to have received the prestigious “Pritzker Architecture Prize ” awarded by Hyatt Foundation. A student of Rem Koolhaas and Elia Zenghelis , she graduated from London Architectural Association in 1977. The aesthetic originality that characterizes her projects, the fluid, transparent, almost abstract forms of her works, have revolutionized the environmental approach and the conception of living space. Her works are now part of the historical heritage and represent points of encounter between past, present and future. They brilliantly trace a new artistic and architectural vocabulary. Anti-conventional and cohesive, Zaha Hadid ’s philosophy and research have emerged over the past 25 years as exemplary models for a new generation of architects.
