He studied photography at the London College of Printing and began his career in the sixties as a photojournalist, collaborator with many magazines in Europe. A meeting with simon guttmann (founder of the reporting agency) determines his evolution as a “committed photographer”. In the early 1980s, he developed a new activity as a photo director in the world of cinema and advertising. His relationship with the camera led him to discover a new dimension in the way of representing the world: photography as an artistic expression of social typology. In this spirit in 1995 begins the series of beaches, which are recognized as reference works in contemporary art.
