FRANCE - BELGIUM, "Fighting the Box" at the Biennale of Saint Etienne | Modem Mag

During the Biennale of Saint-Etienne, (28/11 to 5/12 2010) six former designers of the exhibition will represent Belgium.

The exhibition, conceived by Giovanna Massoni and Dieter Van Den Storm wants to reaffirm the meaning of a product as an engine for innovation. Every product is the result of the relationship between designers and companies, both essential to sustainable research and development.

Designers, through a sort of “deconstruction”, will focus on the “making of” by showing sketches, technical drawings, 3Ds, mock-ups and prototypes.

The selected designers among the 20 that took part of the exhibition, are: Bram Boo, Jean- François D’Or, Nedda El-Asmar, Xavier Lust, Lucile Soufflet et Diane Steverlynck.
