5th edition of the award at Cité de l'Architecture & du Patrimoine which hosts every year a symposium with the winners.

On the 23rd of Mai, at the occasion of the Global Award, architects are gathering to reward and promote the works of the laureates.

2011’s winners are from North and South America, Central Europe, Scandinavia and Israel. They demonstrate the growing importance of solidarity in architecture, and the globalisation of the debate concerning interactions between architecture, nature and development.

Starting with the Award ceremony, the day of symposium will be continue with a series of talks and debates by the laureates: Shlomo and Barbara Aronson, Jörn Frenzel, Sigrun Birgisdottir and Olga Gudrun Sigfusdottir, Anna Heringer, Teddy Cruz and Carmen Arróspide Poblete.
