Fashion Week

For "Big splash", the former assistant to John Galliano surfs on a 100% British aesthetic.

Buckingham Palace, Geek Chic, City Boys… Welcome to a London, revisited by John Galliano, or rather by his ex-assistant who has taken the reins at the label, presenting a great collection which romantic and wearable pieces.

In this London, there are also corsairs, bad-boys, a largely bohemian military style and looks directly inspired by the Swinging 60s. For his last look, faithful to Galliano’s eccentric spirit, Bill Gaytten hinted at his former colleague, who had been in court on the same day, presenting two silhouettes, veritable clones of John Galliano complete with long hair and black suits.

Bill Gaytten was officially named artistic director of the John Galliano label by LVMH. Bill Gaytten has been working for both labels. His sense of design and innovation within heritage are symbols of the house. It is Gaytten who is to oversee the Haute Couture show which will take place on July 4th at 14.30.
