Saturday 1st October 2011, "One Day Showroom" presents the eight winning brands of this first "Nouveaux Talents de la Mode 2011" project.

Selected by the magazine, ELLE, eight winning labels of the first Nouveaux Talents de la Mode 2011 ("new fashion talents") project: Barnabé Hardy, Belle Ninon, Bend Sport Couture, Gustavo Lins, Lefranc-Ferrant, Maison Rabih Kayrouz, Natalia Brilli and Ragazze
Ornamentali
.

This one off showroom, located at La Pointe Rivoli - formerly occupied by a Kenzo store, near to the Samaritaine -, is an artistic installation. The scenography winks at the universe of each of the designers. The direction, made for the buyers and press, emulates the commercial showrooms which exhibit the Spring Summer 2012 collections.

For the operation, the chosen designers benefit from financial sponsorship, under the aegis of the minister of Culture and Communication, three houses - Balenciaga, Chanel and Louis Vuitton - and the IFCIC (Institute for the Financing of Cinema and Cultural Industry). The total could reach up to 1 million Euros. They are accompanied by fashion and business professionals and supported through ELLE editorial, that is featured in a special issue, which came out on May 6, 2011.

ELLE's New Talents are:

Belle Ninon
The "neo-parisienne". Fascinated by the allure of the Parisian woman, Dawei Sun and Ling Lu joined forces to create their brand. They design simple, elegant and contemporary looks. Their obsession? Parisian chic.

Maison Rabih Kayrouz
"Sexy minimalism". He opened his house in Paris with highly constructed but comfortable dresses. "My clothes need to dance on the body, setting it free, letting it float almost. I always choose fabrics which take on light."

Barnabé Hardy
"Sublime leather". He creates leather jackets and coats, which are like shells that "make the woman stronger and more able to face time and other people". His style is urban yet sophisticated: "I work for active people and this is their time".

Gustavo Lins
"Fluid allure". He founded his couture house as much when he was inspired by Pina Bausch and her way of "treating clothes with humour", as drapes by Watteau, his favourite painter, or Alaïa and Yohji Yamamato's designs. His creations are both ultra-structured and fluid at the same time.

Lefranc-Ferrant
"Tailored chic". At Lefranc-Ferrant, the distinction between prêt-à-porter and luxury is thin, classy dresses have a couture about them and their store offers tailor-made clothing. Both share a passion for elegance.

Bend Sport Couture
"Cool elegance". Chic and comfortable sportswear. A polyvalence reached through cut and well researched materials: new fabrics like nylon silk or bamboo lycra. Bend - flexible: flexible in material, cut and use.

Natalia Brilli
"Jewellery poetry". All of her jewellery designs are sheathed in leather and hand-made by a technique from the 20s. Inspired by surrealism, she plays with optical illusions: "I work mainly with 3D, colour and light".

Ragazze Ornamentali
The "nobility of the accessory". Ragazze Ornamentali's bags are unique pieces which can be handed down from mother to daughter. Materials used are noble, very beautiful leathers "still alive, which grow shinier with age", or chains in rose gold as straps.
