Rad Hourani will present his first Unisex Haute Couture collection in Paris on July 4th 2012, 5pm.

Driven by an innovative approach to design and couture for the past 5 years, Rad Hourani has established a singular unisex vision and is pleased to show that his namesake label has now fully come into its own, reaching a new level: the exceptional craftsmanship treats the fabric three-dimensionally, as an architectural origami canvas. The unisex reversible and transformable pieces are handcrafted and made with meticulous precision and dedication to Rad's vision: genderless, seasonless and timeless. Exclusive and unique these pieces are destined to be more than garments, a collector's item.

With his coming show during Paris Haute Couture week this July 2012, Rad Hourani will be the first designer to present a Unisex Haute Couture show in history.

"{I started imagining clothes the same way i started creating images: with a sense of curiosity and innocence driven by my no-background background, says the designer. No school. No teachers. No telly. No boundaries. No formatting. I like the idea of a world that we could live and shape by ourselves, only by observing. Each our own. My clothes have erupted from this world of mine. They are asexual, aseasonal, they come from no place, no time, no tradition, yet they could be home anywhere, anytime. They exude a sense of discreet chic, the essence of timeless style, drawn on a monochromatic and graphical canvas. Palette of blacks and shades of timeless colors. Sophisticated unisex modern classics for anti-conformist individuals."

2007: Launch of the namesake label in Paris.
June 2010: Presentation "tranclassic" at Joyce Gallery Palais Royal.
September 2010: Anna Wintour and Franca Sozzani to present Rad Hourani #6 in Milan in the honor of the CFDA Vogue Fashion Fund at Vogue Italy talents exhibition.
June 2011: Video installation AT Arnhem biennale and launch of first book in collaboration with mykromag.
