Pitti Uomo 83 and Pitti W 11, to be held in Florence from January 8 to 11 2013, at the Fortezza da Basso and the Dogana, respectively, announce their guest designers: Kenzo for men’s fashions and Maison Kitsuné for women’s.

The creative directors of the historic brand, Kenzo are Chinese-Peruvian American Humberto Leon and Korean-American Carol Lim, both from L.A. and students at the University of California Berkeley. They achieved success with Opening Ceremony in New York, one of the most influential retail destinations for bold fashion design and then took on a new global challenge as Kenzo's creative directors.

On the other side of the ocean, French music producer Gildas Loaëc and Japanese architect Masaya Kuroki created Kitsuné: a project in which fashion and music provide the inspiration and the attraction, performance and product define and explain each other.
