Design Oracles opened its doors on April 3rd at Gaîté Lyrique, in Paris. The exhibition curated by Lidewij Edelkoort focuses on the role of design as an oracle that allows us to foresee the future consequences of today’s events. The showcase features the design collection of the Centre national des arts plastiques - CNAP, which brings together a great number of iconic design works.

The show highlights the evocative power of objects, investigating 10 different themes told through 10 different items. In this context, each object has its owns story and communicates a certain lifestyle, as well as a desire of self-expression. With an eclectic range of works, ranging from garments to furniture, Design Oracles aims to embody the metamorphoses of present times. The objects are perceived as messengers that aim to highlight our own moods, while symbolizing our relationship to the world and to life in general.
