The 2015 edition of Photoquai, the Paris-based biennial for photography, is taking place in Paris until November 22nd, 2015.

Organized by the Musée du Quai Branly, the 5th edition of Photoquai features 400 photographs by 40 authors with a focus on Africa, Latin America, Asia, Russia, the Middle East and Oceania. After “Regarde moi!” (Look at me) in 2013, the theme of this year’s edition is “We are family” and focuses on the idea of family in a sense of togetherness and community. As usual, the Photoquai exhibition includes outdoor temporary structures, which are set up along the Seine. For its 5th edition, Photoquai’s showcase structure has been designed by Patrick Jouin and is exhibited just in front of the Quai Branly’s entrance. Appealing to both professionals and amateurs, Photoquai aims to cultivate and promote a dialogue between contemporary photography and the viewing public.
