Karl Lagerfeld exhibition and the [red]Chanel Cruise 2017[/red] fashion show in Cuba

It won’t be just Pitti Immagine Uomo to play host the exclusive exhibition celebrating the photographic works of Karl Lagerfeld. The shots of the German designer have arrived until the isle of Cuba, a few days before the unveiling of Chanel Cruise 2017 collection, which will be presented at the Paseo del Prado in Havana on 3 May 2016, debuting in Latin America for the first time ever.

As part of a month-long celebration of French culture in Cuba organized by the Alliance Française, the exhibition will animate the atmosphere of Havana, featuring 200 photos taken by Creative Director Karl Lagerfeld himself and grouped under the title 'Obras in Proceso/Work in Progress'.

The show exhibited at the Factoria Habana, from 28 April until the 12th of May, will focus on threes themes about the designer’s main interests such as fashion, architecture and landscapes.

“The cultural richness and opening up of Cuba is a source of inspiration for Karl Lagerfeld and Chanel”, said the fashion house in a statement.

Chanel Cruise 2017 fashion show is an important event for the Caribbean isle, which is poised to mark a new chapter in its history, after restoring diplomatic relations with United States and the Occidental since last year.
