Tradition demands that the hosts and hostesses at the [red]INTERIEUR[/red] biennales are decked out in strikingly original uniforms. Belgian House [red]Ann Demeulemeester[/red] provides the silver touch this year, ensuring the hosts and hostesses will stand out from the Interieur crowds.

Several prominent designers had previously dressed the Interieur hosts such as the Belgian Walter Van Beirendonck and Issey Miyake from Japan, as well as rising talents such as young Norwegian designer Ravn and the designers of the Ghent-based Black Balloon label.

Ann Demeulemeester chose a sober look with festive silver accents. Black trousers with a double fold and a short black little jacket are combined with silver accents: a striking shirt and silver touches on the shoes. The necklace-with-feather which has long been the accessory of choice for the designer, here gets the silver treatment.

The 25th edition is coming up in October 2016, from the 14th to the 23rd. The Biennale Interieur is a non-profit organization acting in the field of design, product development and innovation, it aims to promote creativity in product development, the living environment and design, through the means of a major international Biennale, which offers an overview of the most recent innovations and the most successful projects within the design industry.
