Each year granted to a British artist under fifty years old, the Turner Prize was given to Richard Wright for its series of wall pieces set in a given architecture.

The artist has used the technique of stencil employed ever since the
Renaissance which consists in the reproduction of a pattern formed by
removing sections from template material in the form of text or an image.

On next January 3rd, day of the exibition closing, his work will be erased and destroyed.

His work and that of three other nominees, Enrico David, Roger Hiorns et Lucy Skaer, will be shown in the Tate Britain until January 3rd 2010.
