Paris Photo will be held in Paris' historical Grand Palais from 10th to 13th November 2016 and will host over 150 galleries, including Galerie Nathalie Obadia, Galerie Daniel Templon, and Galerie Xippas.

The 20th edition of Paris Photo will feature 153 leading galleries from 34 countries, presenting both historical and contemporary art works, 30 publishers and specialized art book dealers and, in the Salon d’Honneur, the PRISMES section with 14 projects dedicated to large formats and series.

The Salon d’Honneur will also host the Centre Pompidou with an highlights from their last 10 years of photographic acquisitions and J.P. Morgan with a selection of photographs from its collection.

The Paris Photo Platform will gather leading personalities from the art world for a 4-day program of talks with 5 different issues: how to collect photography today ? , provoke magazine between art and politic in the 60’s in Japan, photography beyond representation, photography & cinema in practice, and the artist as.... In addition, Paris Photo will present a book signing sessions and the 5th edition of the Paris Photo-Aperture Foundation Photobook Awards in partnership with the Aperture Foundation.

Furthermore, for its 20th edition, Paris Photo presents Paris Photo 1997-2016, Parcours, a co-publication with Éditions Xavier Barral, with retrospective images, archival texts and the contributions from 89 figures that have marked the history of Paris Photo.


On the occasion of Paris Photo, Pierre Hardy and the ECAL/University of Art and Design Lausanne present the exhibition Walk With Pierre Hardy: 15 iconic models of the designer will be reinterpreted visually by the Bachelor Photography students, under the direction of Philippe Jarrigeon. The exhibition will be presented at 9-11 Place du Palais Bourbon from 11th to 13th November.
