FRANCE/ Hyères: New Villa Noailles’ Association President

The board of directors of the [size=14][red]Villa Noailles’ Association[/red][/size] met on October 25, 2016 in Paris. [size=14][red]Didier Grumbach[/red][/size], historic president and founder of the association and the International Festival of Fashion and Photography in Hyères chose to announce his resignation. The board members have unanimously elected [size=14][red]Pascale Mussard[/red][/size] to succeed him.

Didier Grumbach remains a member of the board, and it was decided that he will be appointed honorary chairman. The members of the board, Jean-Pierre Blanc and the Villa Noailles’ team wish to express their infinite gratitude to Didier Grumbach for his kindness, his confidence and for his critical support during the last twenty years.

Pascale Mussard joined Hermès in 1978 as procurement manager for women’s ready-to-wear fabrics and accessories, then she became press officer for the department before taking responsibility for advertising and later public relations. She went on to create and run the exhibitions department for six years, and was responsible for window displays for the French store network.

Working alongside Pierre-Alexis Dumas, she helped establish the Prix Emile Hermès, which is awarded to talented young designers in Europe. She is also vice president of the Fondation d’Entreprise Hermès, created in 2008, a committee member of the Friends of the Centre Pompidou and the president of Les Amis de Saint Bernard, a patrons association working for the constitution of the villa Noailles’ collections connected to the Noailles and the history of the place, since 2009.
