On December 3rd 2009, collectors Rosa and Carlos de la Cruz
have inaugurated the De La Cruz Collection Contemporary Art Space.

The private museum, 30000 m2 on three levels, was created to shelter the De La Cruz Collection. It's minimalist architecture, was conceived by John Marquette.

The collection comprises forty-four international contemporary artists, among them : Gonzalez-Torres, Tracey Emin, Rachel Harrison.

The museum has also educational purposes : a reading room with books coming from the personnal library of the De la Cruz will be open to artists and students. In addition lectures about art history and contemporary artistic projects will be given all along the year.
