HOMI, the Fiera Milano trade show dedicated to lifestyles, will comeback from 27 to 30 January 2017 (the Gift&Events and Festivity sectors will be premiered in advance, from 25 January).
The event will be attended by 1,500 exhibitors, including 21% from 38 foreign countries, primarily Spain, France, Germany, India and South Korea.
New this year is HOMI TRENDS, an area dedicated to the most interesting trends identified by HOMI with WGSN, the International Company, leader in research and big data retail analytics for fashion, design and the creative industries.
The technological world features at HOMI SMART, a section that will once again showcase concrete examples of the increasingly close relationship between design and technology, between beauty experienced through objects and shared via the social networks.
The exhibition areas will be flanked by many experiential initiatives that will enliven every HOMI sector: from the Table to Textiles and Fashion Accessories; and from Air Fresheners, with the Olfactory Gallery, to Kid Style, with an experimental satellite area dedicated to the many sensory nuances experienced by children.
Then there are the shows: “La Magnifica Forma”, a research and experiment event dedicated to the interaction between all-Italian excellence and Artistic Heritage, which this year tackles the rapport between design and territory; and “Scatenata”, a Fashion & Jewels event that reveals the central role of chains in both antique and modern jewellery.
The HOMI sector dedicated to people has also been renewed with HOMI Fashion & Jewels collecting the best in Italian and international jewellery and fashion accessories. As always, HOMI Sperimenta and HOMI Creazioni reveal the latest in experimentation and research, alongside other new projects, such as those proposed by Artisanal Intelligence, focusing in particular on the creative processes showcased.
