The Chamber of Buyers revitalizes the relationship with top Brands based on the elements of the medium/long term partnership and on the ethics of relationships.

Milan, February 27th 2017, after a long meeting during the closure of Milan Fashion Week 2017, the Italian Chamber of Buyer Moda, the association that counts 114 luxury retailers and more than 400 points of sales in Italy, has voted with the majority a declaration of intent to make the action of associated retailers more cohesive, with the aim of communicating with greater strength and unity to the Italian and foreign Brands.

As Buyer Chamber, we represent, with our shops, the biggest market in the world, both physical and virtual, the one with the biggest heritage and potential story telling. We are the hardware of the fashion system, the terminals of the creative efforts that start with stylists.

Italian Best Shops are considered Brands’ commercial partners to all intents; they contribute to their growth and to the story of the style world that they interpret. They will work with the aim of making this partnership recognized for the whole duration of the commercial link.

Our Association has decided, therefore, to be compact to allow the Buyer Chamber to achieve its mission, indicated in the By-Laws and the chart of values. Its mission is to “be the facilitator organ for the associated entrepreneurs to help them achieve their primary business goals: buy well and sell well”.

It is for this reason that in the new manifest, the Chamber Associates commit themselves to face the market with a single voice , in order to apply the mutates brand strategies where worsening economic condition save been forecasted giving the adequate recovery time. The Buyer Chamber will work to better the General Arrangements so that the quick change of conditions from the Brands does not penalize Italian retailers pushing them to the edge of their possibilities to compete fairly with their European competitors.

We are sure that this decision, taken with the intention to make a network , will be in line with the desire even of top Brands to boost the system, to make it dynamic, transparent and efficient, and to recognize Italy a central role and to make it an example for the whole Fashion System.

We have always been the inspiring display for the world. Visiting our historical shops, international buyers make choices and direct their purchases. It is for this reason that we have to be in the conditions to work to our best capabilities to keep the level of excellence that we have guaranteed up to date.

We, shops of excellence, make the rest of the world train for the taste and beauty and we will work to make Brands recognize our role and apply ethics and respect of reciprocal agreements to relationships in order to keep telling together the story of elegance chosen by Italians.

We also rely on the in the press, so that it can be part of a virtuous system that needs to recover also the critical understanding of phenomena and to ask for a change where needed.
