FRANCE / Dinan: The new edition of the Festival international des jeunes créateurs de mode kicks off in Dinan

Since over than 20 years, the 'Festival International des Jeunes créateurs de mode', created by the famous choreographer of catwalks Dominique Damien Réhel, is going to be held in Dinan, connecting young talents.
The new edition of this innovative festival will take place from 7 to 9 April, highlighting the best emergent designers from over the world who could mark the future in fashion.
The event will be animated by three unmissable exhibitions. 'Un regard sur Yves Saint Laurent' realised thanks to Olivier Châtenet, owner of a prestigious collection including pieces dedicated entirely to the designer, which focus on his extraordinary visionary quality who made his success.
'Coiffes des bords de Rance' the hats of the museum of Dinan represent an important heritage in Haute-Bretagne, featuring the evolution of these items of adornment from the Rance du Méné to the Rance maritime, from 1830 to 1930. 'Mode et accessoires, les créateurs dinannais exposent' celebrates the contemporary craftsmen of Dinan.
On the occasion of these three days, ten designers aged from 21 to 28, will show their fashion and textile works with a mini collection of 7 models about two categories : Women’s collection and Men’s collection, under the theme « Save the Planet », with two special prices : UPCYCLINC ECO TLC’s price and the Gavottes ®’s price.
The creations of candidates will be presented on the exclusive location of the Théâtre des Jacobins, during the fashion show of Saturday 8 April, just after the three presentation that will animate the streets of the small city: 'La mode dans la rue'. The winners will be announced in the evening.
