After more than four years of works of renovation and increase, the Museum of modern art Lille Métropole (Villeneuve d' Ascq) will reopen its doors to the public on September 25th, 2010 under a new name: LAM - Lille Métropole Musée of modern art, contemporary art and naive art.

Two architectures, surrounded by a park of sculptures (Alexandre Calder, Pablo Picasso, Eugène Dodeigne), will shelter henceforth three prestigious collections of the XXth and XXIth centuries.

More than 4 500 works (among which some never presented to the public), 4 000 m2 of the exhibition space (without counting the Library Dominique Bozo and his Research center, but also an auditorium, a café-restaurant).

In prefiguration of the new Museum, the public can discover LAM through his new web site www.musee-lam.fr as from the first quarter 2010.
