The Swiss art historian Bice Curiger has been nominated as commissioner for the 54th edition of the Venice Biennale by the steering commitee of the event.
Art historian, specialized in Oppenheim, curator at Kunsthaus Museum of Zurich, co-founder of Parkett and more recently director of Tate magazine etc, Bice Curigerhas been appointed to succeed to Daniel Birnbaum as Commissioner for the next 54th Venice Biennale.
The next edition of the Biennale will take place from June to November 2011.
