La Galerie de France accueille pour la quatrième fois les travaux photographiques de l'artiste iranien.

Filmmaker, painter and poet, the Iranian artist exhibits for the forth time since 1999 his photographic works at the Galerie de France in Paris. 22 black and white photos for his tribute to nature in a contemplative work which present snowy landscapes immortalized without editing.

"I’m working on nature since thirty years now . I started with isolated trees, then trees and birds, rain through windscreen, roads and last series of walls. Each topic has genereted as follows. We normally think that walls are built to separete, to obscure the landscape, but i perceive them as signs of Nature."

Abbas Kiarostami will also be a protagonist of the Festival de Cannes} ( where he won the Palme d’or in 1997 for is movie "A Taste of Cherry"), with his last film "The Certified Copy" : with Juliette Binoche as a gallerist and William Shimell as a writer, the movie presents the close relationship, in art, between the original and his copy, the reality and the fiction.
