Since 2002, Art Basel Conversations program offers debates on current aspects of the art world with the participation of artists, collectors, museum directors, curators, critics, gallery owners, architects and journalists.

This year’s program will begin with the traditional interview of artists, with the L.A.'s famous artist Paul McCarthy and the curator Massimiliano Gioni.

The roundtable Crossing the Atlantic, dedicated to museums and institutions, will hosts Klaus Biesenbach, Lynne Cooke and Ann Goldstein, curators in European and American institutions.

Irving Blum and Jeffrey Deitch will share their thoughts on the role of art in their lives.

Led by Hans Ulrich Obrist, the theme of The Future of Museum cycle will be Art and Architecture. Among the invited architects, announced to take part of a debate on the future of architecture, urban development and design, Yona Friedman, Christian Kerez and Farshid Moussavi.

The Art Basel Conversations will be held every morning at 10 a.m. in a new dedicated space in the Hall 1. From june 16th to Jube 20th.
