First edition of the AP'art International Festivalpublished : July 01 2010

For its first edition, held from July 8th to July 13th 2010, the festival will host around sixty artists from several countries, such as France, Argentina, Bulgaria, Netherlands and Italy.

The festival is a real bridge between visual arts and different commune of the Alpilles. AP’art aim to create a synergy with summer events and contemporary art centres in Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur.
The installations and the exhibition will give the possibility to festival-goers to immerse themselves in the contemporary art universe. All over the Arpilles, lectures, talk, artist’s studios and collection visit, dinners and picnics will be organized in more than thirty spots.
More than sixty artists have responded to the invitation, including Ben, Robert Combas, Jessica Lange, ORLAN, Philippe Ramette, Georges Rousse and Daniel Spoerri.
