Thierry Raspail chooses Victoria Noorthoorn to ensure the Commission for the 11th edition of the Biennale in Lyon that will be held from September 15th to December 31st 2011.

Victoria Noorthoorn is an independent curator who lives in Buenos Aires. She holds a MA in Art History at the Buenos Aires University and a MA in Curatorial Studies at Bard College of New York.

She worked as Project Coordinator of the MoMA international program (from 1998 to 2000), as assistant curator for the contemporary exhibitions of Drawing Centre in New York (from 1999 to 2001) and as curator for the Malba-Fundacion Constantini in Buenos Aires (from 2002 to 2004).

The Lyon Biennale will take place from Septembre 15th to December 31st 2011. Read more here
