The Berlin Fashion Week opens this week. Focus on the tradeshows that will set the tone.
Bread & Butter, Premium, SEEK Berlin, GREENshowroom, The Key.To and the first edition of Bright will take place this week to present the s/s collections 2011 in Berlin.
The Premium tradeshow will be the first to open its doors on Tuesday. The show, focused on urban fashion, will present men and women prêt-à-porter, accessories and cosmetics collections of more than 900 brands. Set alongside with Premium, the SEEK tradeshow will welcome the contemporary most important international brands.
The Bread & Butter will opens on Tuesday night with his traditional "B&B Opening Party" at the Tempelhof. This year the tradeshow will tribute the football World Cup by installing huge screens to show the games. The event will give the chance to inaugurate the B&B KIDS CAMP, where the main brands will present their kidswear collections in the amazing set of Roncalli Circus.
Set for the first time in Berlin, the Bright tradeshow, historically based in Frankfurt, focuses on the streetwear market, and will welcome over 300 brands. Set in the former headquarter of the Ministry of Defense of the GDR, the tradeshow will occupy a 400 m2 area, hosting as well art, magazine and galleries exhibition.
TheKey.to will be the main event for green and ethic fashion. From Thursday on, the tradeshow will welcome showrooms, catwalks and several events. The day before, GREEN Showroom will present for the second time a both luxury and sustainable fashion at the Hotel Adlon Kempinski. The exhibition will propose an exclusive selection of menswear, women, children accessories and cosmetics eco-label brands.
