Between September 14 and 16, Première Vision, the World Fair for Apparel Fabric, has opened its doors on 700 exhibitors and 7 forums to show the main 2011/12 Fall trends.

During four days, a public of professionals has entered the backstage of fashion and discovered the new season : a dive into the colours, the fabrics, the themes and the chromatic harmony of the coming fashion.

Among significant novelties of this edition, which has seen 15% more visitors than last year, a whole area devoted to Denim and the creation of a 5th Prize on its list: the Woolmark Prize Special 2010 which gives a real spotlight to the wool.

The seven “Fashion Forums” have presented the most original and innovative creations on a worldwide level. While the {General Forum focused on the most representative fabrics of all universes of style for winter 2012 with the exhibition of the PV Awards winners, the Forum Special Novelties presented the new creations.
In original presentations, the four Forums of the universes of style have shown the fabrics and the main fashion lines, giving an overview of the new trends.

Fluidity and suppleness are the key words of this Fall/Winter 2011/12, elegance turns its back to status quo and conservatism, chic and casual strengthen their bonds.

The materials attest an in-depth work and reveal their unostentatious richness, the threads show themselves, the structures are readable and perceptible by touching.
The cotton and the wool universes combine while knit-materials and silk predominate, giving a full vision of fluidity and movement.
The authentic goes about with an eccentric touch with tweeds and other picturesque settings.
Softness is on display, colours gain a new nobility, new harmonies develop. Far away from austerity, the new season encourages to favour inventive choices while developing them in a rigorous manner.
