Cerith Wyn Evans (Llanelli, Wales, UK, 1958; lives and works in London) is among the most important European artists of the past two decades. He began his artistic career as a film-maker, producing experimental films and from the 1990s he has focused on language and perception, through sculpture, installation, photography, and film. Within this continuous transformation of medium, Cerith Wyn Evans often realizes neon installations with complex shapes that constitute a central element in his oeuvre.

The exhibition—the largest ever held in Italy—will redefine the space of the Navate through a corpus of works made over the past twenty years, in which the artist explores and delves deep into the potential of light and sound. Complex and monumental installations will alter the visitor’s sensory perceptions.
