The exhibition L’Archipel secret explores south-east Asia from the platform that is Singapore. Its multiple forms, aesthetic and cultural dimensions and intellectual practices were inherited from the history of its introduction to and confrontations with commerce, its belief systems, its aristocratic dynasties and colonial incursions.
