This exhibition presents more than forty of the artist’s major works from the past four years, many of which have not yet been publicly shown

It unfolds in an architectural arrangement conceived specifically for the show that unites UCCA’s three outer galleries into a disorienting yet compelling whole. It divides into overlapping thematic sections and moves freely among the artist’s evolving temporalities and subjects: train interiors, barbers, tinkers, dancers, and painters, as well as the landscapes of China’s urban centers and bucolic peripheries.
