Van de Pavert uses objects and models to explore the role architecture plays in a new social order. The focus of the exhibition is a series of models that seem to be prototypes for design objects.

The models are made from materials like plaster and plastic; round forms and clean lines give them a utopian feel. Their practicality is not the point; what matters is the promise they make for the future. In his work the artist builds on the idealistic foundations of Modernism and the progressive 1960s.
