The exhibition approaches the Italian writer and filmmaker Pier Paolo Pasolini (1922-1975) through their relations with Rome. This approach allowed into everything that makes and defines this author: poetry, politics, civic engagement, sex, friendship, cinema.
Pasolini Roma shows original manuscripts of scripts, storyboards, fragments of his films, poems, novels, essays and articles; correspondence with friends and intellectuals, drawings and paintings made by Pasolini himself. It also presents works by different artists (Giorgio Morandi, Ottone Rosai, Renato Guttuso and Filippo De Pisis), artists especially appreciated by the author and cited in his work.
