From public spaces to the performing arts, installations, museum design, architecture and landscapes – the encroachment of architects, designers, artists and landscape architects into these various spaces has become a routine matter.

On the occasion of the XXI Triennale di Milano International Exposition, Pirelli HangarBicocca houses the exhibition Architecture as Art.

The exhibition, devoted to the relationship between Art and Architecture, aims to create a very special form of “encroachment” – at least in as far as architecture exhibitions are concerned – with an exhibition space arranged in such a way as to convey an understanding of architecture as an artistic event.
