For the summer exhibition, Christo will create the event with a monumental mastaba that will redefine the scale of the Giacometti courtyard and, more generally, the architecture and gardens designed by Josep Lluίs Sert.

This external construction is 9 meters high, 17 meters long and 9 meters wide. At the foot of the construction, the spectator will first experience a dramatic confrontation with the object, the form and the colors and then with space, time and rhythm. It is a confrontation that Christo has dreamed of for almost 50 years.
